Wellness Workshops
Hands on sessions, including guided meditation, that give students, parents, and educators practical tools to feel a little steadier and more supported.
Who it is for
Students, parents, and educators alike. We run student workshops during the school day, and family or staff sessions in the evening, because wellbeing is something a whole community builds together.
What a session looks like
Workshops are calm, welcoming, and participatory. We might walk through a short guided meditation, practice a grounding exercise together, and talk through tools people can take home. Everyone joins in at their own comfort level, with no pressure to share.
What we cover
Topics we cover
We shape each workshop to the group in the room. Common focuses include:
- Guided meditation and simple breathing practices
- Grounding and calming techniques for stressful moments
- Healthy ways to manage stress, worry, and overwhelm
- Building everyday habits that support wellbeing, like sleep, breaks, and connection
- How parents and educators can support a young person mental health
- Where to turn for more support, including the 988 line
Format and length
- A 30 to 60 minute interactive session
- Offered for student groups, parent nights, or staff in service time
- Works in a classroom, library, or community room
- Take home practices so the calm continues after we leave
Why it works
When students lead these sessions, the room feels approachable rather than instructional, and people are more willing to actually try the practices instead of just hearing about them.
The techniques we teach are grounded in well established wellness practices and vetted by our advisory team of psychologists, physicians, and educators, so what people take home is both calming and credible.
“I walked in tense and left with two breathing exercises I now use with my own kids at home.”
